Locomotives make a point! LAME Motorsports prove their worth in single seaters!

The daily races on friday saw an outstanding performance for the Latvians yet again. Kristers Kudlis joined todays “Spark Plug” and finished 2nd, while the leader of the Team, A. E. Gavars finished in 4th.

This was not the end of their dominance. In “The Carburetor” right after, Kudlis could prove himself in the Trabant, securing another 2nd place finish, while Gavars pushed for 3rd. The race was overshadowed by the fight for the lead between Aditya Surve and yet again, Kristers Kudlis. In the later half of the race, the steering wheel of Surves Trabant came lose, ending the battle for first place in anger for the Indian LAME Motorsport Driver. The lucky winner of the race, with the best lap of 02:32.039, 2 seconds off the fastest lap, was Paulo Rito Marcos, getting his first win in the Carburetor in general.

After that, the title battle between three of the Tatuus World Series team was on in “The Monocoque”:

Mike Van der Burgt – Burgt Racing
Aditya Surve – LAME Motorsport
Kristers Kudlis – Latvian Lightning Locomotives

It seemed that Surve had enough of losing due to technical circumstances and with 21 seconds in the lead, with a fastest lap of 01:07.193, he crossed the finish line of Silverstone in the first place. For Kudlis it was 3 times the charme with yet another 2nd place of the day!

And if it wasn’t enough single seater for one day, the Lotus Exos race was absolutely dominated by LAME-Motorsports yet again, finishing with a beautiful 1-2 (Aditya Surve – Yuri Lobkov).
