The new WorldSimSeries calendar was released and Muffler Shop Racing did not wait to go for podiums and even a few wins today! In 11 races, Mick Trompke showed off his speed, getting closer and closer to his pace-rating, which he desperatly need for his Pro License.
Right on that note: Trompke is on his way to the Pro License, which we can hopefully celebrate this week! Michal Sulc (previously Muffler Shop Academy) is testing for the Pro-AM license now and it looks like he already set the time for the license today at Spa!
The new WSS Calendar – Where will Muffler Shop be?
This week 1 we start off with Lime Rock Park on MX5 and Donington Park in the Formula Junior (Tatuus), which makes it very hard to decide what to take. With the first day out of the way, we will probably mix the schedule with both MX5 and Tatuus in the midst of the week. Next week we will go to Summit Point Main on the MX5 and Brands Hatch GP on the Tatuus, which means Muffler Shop Racing will probably take part in most of the Tatuus races week 2, but we will for sure test Summit Point Main and give it a chance.
The Academy – New peeps, new potential pros?
No rising stars this month!
Since the Academy is getting slowly rebuild at the moment, the rising star award of the month of March has to sit out for a bit. With new events on the rise and our participation in more and more WSS Events, we hope to get the Rookies interested in our academy, before we head of to specific training and licensing!
