13 people started on Interlagos today and the Qualifying already showed how interesting the Tatuus World Series race on Saturday will be: Tallarino set his fastest lap, but chose to go for the hards in the race, which would limit his race pace severely. After the green flag was waved it became a very interesting start and everybody already guessed, who would make the crash happen in turn 1. And the answer: Mick Trompke

Wesley reported after the race, that he had suspension damage throughout the rest of the race, which put him out of contention for the upper places. Trompkes race from that point on was more or less over, aswell, as he had to go for repairs aswell getting to the back of the grid immediatly after turn 1.
Right after that the tension was high on Tallarino. Could he defend his first place in lap 1 or even further? Sadly the answer was no, as he lost his car right after the Senna S, spinning on the grass, catching his car after a few seconds and continuing from way back, aswell.

What followed was a fight back to the top, until lap 3, when Leo Cicks (Cicks Racing Team) foght Tallarino for position, when Tallarino turned in as though Leo Cicks wasn’t there:

The big battle of the last few laps were fought out by Simon Durkac, Mike Van der Burgt and A. E. Gavars ending the race under the chequered flag only .002 seconds in difference between Simon Durkac and A. E. Gavars, with Mike Van der Burgt 2 seconds behind collecting the 3rd place on the podium. Although he was involved in a big spin at the beginning and a crash, Tallarino made it back to 4th in the end, which is an outstanding result considering.
With the Driver of the Day for Grobnik Simon Durkac putting out very solid laps for LGI Racing team and the grid filling up more and more in the Spark Plug, we will for sure get an exciting race for the upcoming Tatuus World Series Race at Interlagos.
