Actiņš is back, the rivalry warms up again | The Intake on Meadowdale

The paddock wasn’t silent on this mondays race day at Meadowdale, when Mikus Actiņš started walking down the pitlane warming up in a few laps with his Alba. The Intake was about to become a good time as the day was progressing and qualifying made it even more interesting: Both Actiņš and Trompke didn’t do any valid laps, so the both of them started in the back. Ready to go for a wild ride, we saw 7 drivers starting their engines and going off after the green flag!

Trompke and Actiņš start side by side down the hill

Progressing into the race both parties made a lot of errors, while other drivers such as Janak and Gavars kept their mistakes to a minimum, resulting in a finishing position of Janak P1 and Gavars P2. Gioele Frisa kept it straight most of the time and would finish 4th place for his first appearance on the Intake!

Janak wins yet again

As the population problem might take a bit of fun out of the race, it was exciting nonetheless. 3 rounds are still up and we are thrilled to see the drivers try their luck next monday on Norisring!
