The iconic Laguna Seca circuit delivered another unforgettable round of “The Intake”, where S. B. Stattin put on a masterclass to convert pole position into a commanding victory for Muffler Shop Racing. From the green flag to the checkered, Stattin controlled the race. After the race he was disappointed in himself, saying that he “crashed like 3 times” because of the curbs. With that in mind he still won by 2 seconds with the 3rd place 18.6 seconds off.

Behind him, M. Janak of Broken Gears pushed hard but couldn’t quite close the gap, finishing a solid 2nd after a clean drive. J. Bagley, also representing Muffler Shop Racing, held onto 3rd place, rounding out the podium after fending off pressure from J. Koutsky of Sim Racing Roomies, who finished 4th.
Bagley also managed to snatch the fastest lap of the race with a 01:22.377, .4 faster than Stattin.
One of the standout performances came from M. Trompke, climbing from P9 to P6, carving through the field with impressive overtakes. M. Mativeri followed closely behind in 7th, while P. Sanyi fought hard to claim 8th, despite starting from P11. After this race Trompke secured himself the 3rd place in the championship that is still missing 4 races. A. E. Gavars already announced, that he won’t be able to make it next race
S. Iordache had a challenging race, finishing 9th after starting from 12th, while M. Fusco and A. Martínez struggled to find pace, crossing the line in 10th and 11th, respectively.
Who wasn’t as lucky this race was A. E. Gavars losing the car after the corkscrew, not able to recover it. He had to retire the car.
With another win under his belt, S. B. Stattin continues to assert dominance, we wait patiently for the next race at Longford in Australia!
