The Feldbergring is a legendary and challenging road course nestled in the Taunus Mountains of Germany. Known for its high-speed straights, sweeping corners, and dramatic elevation changes, this historic circuit offers a true test of both driver skill and machine capability.
Originally used for motorsport events in the mid-20th century, the track winds through dense forests and open countryside, featuring a mix of fast-flowing bends, blind crests, and technical sections that demand precision and bravery. The combination of high-speed stretches and tight, demanding corners makes Feldbergring a thrilling and dangerous venue, reminiscent of circuits like the Nürburgring Nordschleife and Spa-Francorchamps in its original layout. With its rich history and exhilarating layout, Feldbergring remains one of the ultimate old-school road courses, ideal for those who crave the thrill of high-speed racing on a demanding natural circuit.
The Race
The dust has settled after an intense showdown at Feldbergring, where S. B. Stattin claimed victory after starting from P4, delivering a well-calculated drive to the top step of the podium.
M. Janak, the pole-sitter, put up a strong fight but ultimately had to settle for 2nd place, while M. Šulc, starting from P6 could climb his way up to a podium, making a very close fight with C. Potenza
One of the standout drives of the race came from C. Potenza, who stormed through the field from P15 to finish 4th, showing incredible racecraft and determination. M. Fusco (5th) and G. Frisa (6th) also had strong performances, with Frisa struggling to hold onto his P3 starting position.
But all eyes were on the ongoing rivalry between M. Trompke, N. V. D. Meijde, and M. Actiņš. Trompke fought fiercely, holding 7th place, while N. V. D. Meijde battled hard to finish 9th, just two positions behind. The fight between them ended early with V D. Meijde being taken out by multiple drivers throughout Lap 1.
However, the highly anticipated showdown was missing one key player: M. Actiņš, who was unable to start the race. His absence from the battle meant his rivals gained crucial points, further fueling the fire for their next encounter.
Meanwhile, V. Türker (8th) and K. Lai (10th) completed the top 10, while Z. C (11th) and T. Schlebusch (12th) led the midfield pack. Further down the order, D. Tallarino, who started P5, struggled to maintain early momentum, finishing in 15th.
Overall, it was an action-packed race filled with drama, strategy, and intense rivalries. S. B. Stattin takes home a well-earned victory, but the battle between M. Trompke, N. V. D. Meijde, and Actiņš is far from over. Expect fireworks next time at Hockenheimring!
