The intake today saw a hard race at Circuit de Pau-Ville yesterday! In the first few rounds, we already heard the drivers opinion about the combo: “this is gonna be crazy, prepare for crashes.” And crashes we saw as the green flag waved. In the background Nick Van der Meijde closed a door with a car still in it, making a huge pileup even before turn one. He would later come back from this and finish P5. The star of the session was without a doubt Simon Stattin, qualifying on pole with a 01:38.766, .3 in front of the next driver, Noah Burridge. Stattins ability to get comfortable on the quick early made him find his groove and eventually finishing 20 seconds ahead of Michal Janak, 2nd place.
The rivalry between Mikus Actiņš and Mick Trompke got ignited again, when the latvian didn’t show up to the track on Monday. Trying his best, Trompke kept the car in one piece, although with a few hits amounting to 8 incident points, finishing 6th place, collecting 8 series points along the way and equaling out the previous position of Actiņš in the leaderboard. As of today, Actiņš and Trompke share the same points on P4 with both not finishing one race each.

Nick Van der Meijde and Mick Trompke showed off in the intake, too. As Trompke picked Karamalz for his sponsor for the rest of the season, Nick Van der Meijde decided to paint the car in the original LGI Racing Team colors:
