And it was decided then and there. With a well deserved 2nd place in the finale of “The Diesel Engine” on Autodromo Geraldo Backer, missing the fastest lap by just 1 tenths of a second, Tyler Schlebusch gets 2nd place in the 3rd season of the Diesel Engine by 10 points in front of Mick Trompke. Winner of this season by a long shot is Jason Bagley, who was the definitive winner of the season in the 7th round already. What the next season might hold is still a secret, but what we do know, is that the next season will start next week!
The Rear Wing has a debut like nothing else | Full grid on Bathurst
A. E. Gavars knew it in the testing phase already. The Opel Kadett Blasl would be a good fit in a new series. He should stay correct, because the grid filled up quite nicely, with people all over the world in free-practice, already.
The race was a success for sure, although a few small things might’ve held it back. We saw backmarkers driving in reverse endangering the battles of the front drivers, reports came in because of erratic behavior on track. But overall, so the general reception “The car-track combo was very good!”.
The Escort get a run in Germany | Nordschleife series “Harmonic Balancer” fills up nicely
With only one DNS, 14 driver started today on Nordschleife Endurance and made their way through the tough turns. The race wasn’t without damages and Mikus Actiņš, who retired from “the Spark plug” aswell, also retired on Nordschleife today. A big collision in the first half between Mick Trompke and him might’ve been the root of the problem and Trompke apologized after, taking full responsibility in the crash. But it wasn’t all doom and gloom, because the battle in the front was up and the fights in the beginning were entertaining to watch. The overall winner of time, pace and consistency was again clenched by Aditya Surve (LAME Motorsport).
If Aditya keeps the pace on his road to fame up, it is unsure, who will be able to stop him.
