Turn that Turbo to 100! LGI Racing pushes the Porsche on Talladega and wins!

Lots of issues on today on Talladega! At the crowded start of todays “Turbo”, Imanol Salvadors Porsche was unfortunately hit by Tallarinos (Italczech) car and ended the fight for the italian early. The next incident occured 2-3 minutes later, when Salvador yet again was part of a huge incident with Bizhev, who had to retire the car aswell. Salvador officially stated, that he might’ve been at fault for both of those incidents, but the replay shows a different story. After Bishev went off track on the straight, he rejoined the track as Salvador was about to lap the already slow Tallarino on his inlap into the box, where we saw a 3 wide collision between the drivers, resulting in the definitive retirement of Tallarino and Bishev. The very lucky driver in this whole scenario was, that might suprise you, Salvador himself, you would finish P4 overall!

As for the battle up ahead, Tyler Schlebusch (Muffler Shop Academy) and Nick Van Der Meijde (LGI Racing) battled it out until the end. After already losing it and saving the car, Tyler approached Mick Trompke, who also spun just seconds ago. Tyler could squeeze through the blue flagged Trompke, who left space on the outside, while shortly after, 2 minutes before the end of the race, Tyler himself spun yet again, giving Nick Van Der Meijde the chance to secure himself the win and 15 series points, which puts him into the 2nd position between Tyler Schlebusch (1st) and Mick Trompke (3rd).

More incidents… and drive throughs

Tylers luck stayed the same after that. At Lago Maggiore later in the evening, he had some heavy battles in his Skip Barber with Janak, resulting in a touch that would cost him the lead. In the later half of the race, Tyler missed a breakpoint spinning out at T1. In the end it was only enough for P3 overall, while James Flanagann (HighSpeed Racing), had 3 off track moments, that got him a drive-through penalty, resulting in him getting only P4 in today Suspension.
