Let the Bergrennen-Battle begin! Shared Setups and harsh words on the “Timing Belt”

The Kyffhäuser Bergrennen is up this week and people seem to be very excited to get a good lap in. Especially Nick Van Der Meijde (LGI Racing) is up and about to make the quickest Lap on the hills of Kyffhäuser, to prove the doubters of his team wrong. Van Der Meijde closed in on Gavars, who was around 2:30:300 that point in the evening, while Van Der Meijde put in a 02:30.962, claiming he will get the time in just a bit.

Jason Bagley (Muffler Shop Racing) was already waiting for an opportunity to show his speed on Kyffhäuser, putting in a 02:29.564 in just 3 climbs. Morale was low after that it seemed, but Jason quickly helped the other drivers, mainly A. E. Gavars (Latvian Lightning Locomotives) to adjust the car to the conditions of the road. Gavars, very thankful for the help showed the hill, who’s boss, by putting in a 02:29.126 shortly after receiving the setup recommendations from Bagley, claiming first place for now. Van Der Meijde already announced, that he would beat Bagleys time easily tomorrow, even without his setup tips.

We’ll see tomorrow, how this fight for the fastest lap will go.
